The University of Windsor is experiencing an unexpected but significant and prolonged systems outage. This is impacting most major systems, including the registration systems, Blackboard LMS, UWinsite and our website, uwindsor.ca.


Our I.T. Services and related units are working their very hardest to resume services as soon as possible.


Below are alternate processes to register for Continuing Education courses. Please follow these steps based on your student status.

New to Continuing Education: Course Registration


  1. Visit the Continuing Education Programs page to find the desired course(s) for registration
  2. Select the course section and click 'Add to Cart' and follow the prompts on your screen
  3. *IMPORTANT* Be sure to "Create a New Account"
  4. Complete the profile form and continue to payment and checkout
  5. Check your email for receipts and enrolment confirmations

UWindsor Prep: Course Registration


  1. Visit the UWin Prep course listing page and click on the desired course(s) for registration.
  2. Select the course section and click 'Add to Cart' and follow the prompts on your screen
  3. *IMPORTANT* Be sure to "Create a New Account"
  4. Complete the profile form and continue to payment and checkout
  5. Check your email for receipts and enrolment confirmations

Returning Students: Course Registration


  1. Visit the Continuing Education Programs page to find the desired course(s) for registration
  2. Email continue@uwindsor.ca with subject line “Course Registration.” Indicate in the email body:
    1. Full name
    2. UWin ID (if available)
    3. Alternate email address
    4. Course code, section, and title (example: HLTH 7103 – 001 Health Informatics)
  3. Once the email has been received, our team will register you into the course. Please allow up to 5 business days to complete this process
  4. Once registration has been entered into our system, an invoice will be sent to you via email along with payment instructions.

Course Registration (AQ/ABQ and IB)


  1. Visit the Faculty of Education - Continuing Teacher Education Programs (AQ/ABQ , PQP & IB) to find the desired course(s) for registration.
  2. Add the desired course(s) to your cart and checkout.
  3. If you need any assistance, please reach out to aq@uwindsor.ca or ib@uwindsor.ca.
